Judging by past SoulsBorne titles, we know that FromSoftware generally takes less than one year to produce a big piece of DLC content, often seen as full expansions, for their titles except for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. However, pinpointing a release date window for an Elden Ring paid DLC might just be as difficult as taking down Malenia using a Dance Pad as a controller.

Further, Lance McDonald noted the update includes references to " two new maps that do not yet otherwise exist in the game data" in the code and Ray Tracing support. There is a weird mob in the middle that sucks, not sure why that is there, but otherwise, everything else is great. With the Elden Ring 1.7 update, FromSoftware added "separate damage scaling for PvP", which leads us to believe the game's first DLC might be PvP-Focused.

However the game finishes strong with Logarius, Amygdala, Mergo's wet nurse, Yarnham (if you skip the mundane chalices and go straight there with the 3aqbyx95 chalice), German and Moon Beast are a great final section to the game to make up for the sub par mid game. at least there are a whole bunch of cool weapons and attire to find. both have hard hitting near unavoidable attacks that if you can't burn down fast become irritating road blocks. Dark Beast Paal and Ebrietas are both too easy when you are strong, and annoying as all hell when weak.

Lots of poison areas and enemies with annoying grabs/gimmicks/status hazards, and for bosses there is The One Reborn, Celestial Emissary, Rom the Spider and Micolash that are all meh to bad fights. Mid game from the unseen village is kinda frustrating to be honest, not so good. Cleric Beast, Gasgoine, BSB, Vicar Amelia and Shadows of Yarnham are all fights I enjoyed. On my second run it got such a pain to farm I caved in the end, and it does save a lot of frustration. Would praise the early game greatly, even though farming consumables is a pain without the cummmfpk chalice. Would love to see a remaster sequel one day, that the original still looks great.

my first run of picking up the threaded cane and rolling with it the whole way, and a second time on a blood tinge only build using the reiterpalasch, I definitely agree this is a great game.
